First Steps
On the path of witchcraft there is always that first step one must take in order to dedicate themselves to the path of the witch. Traditionally this is the “Lord’s Prayer” reversed and in Antiyar this is no exception. The reason for the Lords prayer to be reversed has very little to do with contacting the devil and more to do with freeing oneself from the shackles of Christian dogma that we have been led to believe is true. In order to do this rite one needs to have the following available:
- 1 Spiritual Wash
- 1 Candle
- 1 Lords Prayer written reversed
- 1 cup of wine
- incense (Frankincense, Myrhh)
After you have taken a spiritual bath and annointed yourself, go into the woods or near a secluded river you should sit down in a quiet spot where you knw you will not be disturbed for a few minutes, Light the candle, read out the prayer and as you do picture your arms and legs wrapped in shackles. After you have read the prayer visualize a bolt of lightening striking the chains that bind your arms and legs and turning them into powder and falling off your body. After you have done this you can celebrate by drinking the glass of wine and dancing around in the moonlight. This is to be done three consecutive nights.
This is the first step for anyone looking to advance in witchcraft. It has roots in the foundation of the witches pyramid (To Know). Witches know the truth behind the Church and its lies. We know there is no “Devil” and the Church uses peoples weakness as a means of exploitation and manipulation to get in their pockets. We know there is no mystic boogey man that is going to kill us when we say this prayer, we dance knowing we have taken the first steps to undoing the years of religious dogma. If you are unable to do this then you are not ready to progress. If you still fear the Christian God then you are not ready.
Here I present the “Lord’s Prayer” in reverse. You should obtain a journal type notebook you can use for witchcraft that you can keep spells, herbs, potions, etc in. Write this prayer on the fourth or fifth page, giving yourself some pages to draw protection sigils and your personal runes on.
